The two dates are Saturday, August 8th & Saturday, August 22nd. These are held at the ION Science Office in Waterbury.  The address is 33 Commercial Drive, Waterbury, VT.  You get your very own 6ft table, lunch, drinks, snacks, use of all of my stamps, punches and much more.  I hope you are able to join me for one of these.  These are a great way to complete projects, get inspiration from others and visit with a group of great gals. Technique Masking Technique 1. Stamp image on card stock. 2. Stamp it again on a piece of scratch paper (To ensure that the mask stays in place, stamp image on a Post-It note) 3. Cut carefully around the scratch paper image, cutting just inside the lines; this will be your mask 4. Place the mask on top of the card stock image. 5. Stamp another image over a portion of the mask to create a layered, interacting image. 6. Remove the mask to see the finished look. See Images below

Back from a Scrapbooking Retreat Weekend

This past weekend one of my dear friends Queena and I went away on a Scrapbooking 
Get-A-Way Weekend.  We traveled to Bellows Falls and stayed at the Halladay's Harvest Barn Inn http://www.harvestbarninn.com/ with another group of ladies from Massachusetts.  I always love meeting new people that share the same passion as myself and this group from Massachusetts were lovely.  I remember another couple separate from our group asking me where we were all from, when I explained that a couple of us were from Vermont and the others were from Massachusetts, there response to me was that all of us acted like we had known each other forever.  My wish now is that our friendship continue and we meet up again.  Thank you again Barbara, Meredith and Elaine for making us feel welcome.   I think I can say it was a very productive weekend for all of us. There was a lot of laughter, sharing stories, and best of all sharing what we all love, crafting with other people who share the same interest.

The Inn is absolutely lovely and has the best Innkeepers ever, Jon & Gayle.  They seem to 
go out of their way to make sure we all have everything we need and are most comfortable all the while we are their.   The food is incredible, Gayle is fabulous cook and in addition to our meals, provides us all with homemade treats during the day, as well as, we get to sample Halladay's dips.  

A few of us will be traveling back to Halladay's in November for another Retreat Weekend. We will be re-united with a different group that we met on our Retreat last November and we are all looking forward to seeing them again.  

Christmas In July

If you are like me you love anything to do with Christmas, and it doesn't matter what time of the year it is.  This Christmas Tree is one of the projects we will be making on July 12th for Christmas in July.  All Material will be provided, as well as instructions.  Contact me to reserve your spot.  Cost $15.00
